Lies

 Lies ☺

Who doesn’t lie? It would be extremely hard to find a person who does not lie. Sometimes people lie intentionally, whilst others say it’s an accident.

Then again, if an accidental lie wasn’t intentional, would that mean that the person wasn’t lying? It would haven’t been a lie at all, but a continuous spread of misleading information from a misinterpretation or a mistaken conveyance of a message. Let’s say a person was telling you that a math test is tomorrow because they heard someone else said so. Then you heard from the teacher that it is actually on another day. That would just mean that the information is misinformed. Therefore, lies are always intentional.

After that, there’s white lies, which are lies that are known to be slightly good compared to lies. But what’s the difference anyways, it all is in the same family with the same meaning of telling someone a different story from what had actually happened. Well, white lies could be said to be useful when trying to persuade someone, especially a kid, for a good cause; some might argue that it is better to face the truth and learn from it. Here, the ability to adapt and accept the truth of the person being lied to is important; maybe lying to a kid is alright, what about telling white lies to an adult that is expected to be more likely to handle the truths. How would people feel if they knew that they were being lied to? More like how would you feel after being lied to? What about surprises? Surprises don’t always have to use lies.

Honesty is always the best course of action, unless you want to be the manipulative type of person who defies honesty and finds joy in lies. Apparently humans tend to feel guilty after telling a lie, despite some partial satisfaction. Avoid lying as much as possible and stand tall with honesty.
